All participants of all races and race categories must sign a waiver form pertaining to risk and liabilities involved in the participation in the event.
Participants above 55 years have to submit the medical certificate.
Participants below 18 years have to provide consent of parents, the copy of which is to be submitted during expo.
COVID vaccination certificate (both doses) or an RT-PCR Negative report is required to collect the BIB and participate in the event.
Participants have to follow the existing COVID-19 state Advisory and keep oneself and others safe.

PROCESS TO REGISTER
Online Group Registration Process where the group/corporate is sponsoring the entry fees of its team members/employees for the on-ground participative category.
A group representative will be the single point of contact(SPOC) who has to email the request to runbhopalrun@gmail.com with the number of registrations required in the each race category
(5KM, 10KM & Half Marathon(21.095 k)M) mentioning the group name.
Post submission of the group/corporate requirements, RBR team will send all the details to SPOC, like the process flow to register, invoice details, payments, last date to register etc.
On making online payment, SPOC to share online payment receipt on runbhopalrun@gmail.com with group/corporate details.
On receiving payment confirmation, a receipt voucher of registration fees will be generated and sent to the SPOC’s email address (as mentioned in the pre-requisite form).
The registration team will email SPOC the unique coupon codes in excel file..The runners has to register on our website using the coupon codes.
All members of the group/corporate need to individually register online here using the online codes issued and have to sign to the terms and conditions.
By using the code, the team member is not required to pay the applicable entry fees of the on-ground selected race category and it will be 100% free, as you have already paid the fee to us
Unused online codes cannot be returned or cancelled. No refund request will be entertained for unused codes or any incomplete registration.
A group representative the point of contact (SPOC) has to collect the registration forms from the office located at HIG 22,E3 arera colony, Bhopal (MP)
The forms have to be filled and duly signed by each individual.
The payment for the group registrations can be made by a cheque/NEFT/UPI, after receiving the payment, the receipt of acknowledgement will be issued.
Each group must submit their entries together at one time in a single envelope under a covering letter of the company/NGO/any other entity with authorization of the group participation with the
below mentioned details:
Name of the group.
Total Number of entries to be submitted
Details of Payment i.e. Cash/Cheque/DD/Card Payment, date of purchase, amount, bank details in case of Cheque/DD submitted.
Name, contact number, email id of the one point of contact of the group and address of the company/entity/NGO.
GST Number of the company/entity/NGO to raise an invoice.
Every mile and kilometer point is clearly indicated on the course, Runners can look out for these signages for Route directions, Distance markers, Medical and Aid stations, Water stations, Entertainment stations and toilets.
Sweep vehicle for runners who are unable to maintain the pace and finish the run in the stipulated time. However, if runner persists on continuing to run can do so on footpaths.
The facility of baggage is available for participants. Please do not leave any valuables like phones, camera, jewelry or original identification in your bag. The organizers will not be responsible for any loss,
misplacement or theft of items in the baggage counter. For security reasons, participants are requested to come, as far as possible, without any baggage.
SMS and Timing Certificate will be provided to eligible participants - participants who tag at all the timing mats will be eligible for timing certificate.
Participants failing to tag on a mandatory timing mat will be disqualified.
The provisional timing results are displayed on the website within 36 hours of published close hour of the race.Final Race results should be available on the event website within 21 days from the
date of the event.
Runners who find any discrepancies in the published results or any corrections in the E certificate can write us an email to runbhopalrun@gmail.com with sufficient proof which has to be submitted within 15 days.
A jury will be formed with the technical committee to discuss the discrepancies and share the final results after verification of facts.
Jury can cancel or disqualify the results of the participant if any discrepancy found in the activity or on the provided documents.

2 Ensure you are on time on the event date.
3 Secure your bib: Wear your bib to the front of your running vest with safety pins provided.
Secure your timing tag: For 10 k participants, its necessary to take care of the timing tag .Do not tamper with the bib tag in any way or remove/exchange it with another athlete, you won’t be
able to get an official finish time and thereby the official timing certificate recording your finish times. No Timing – No Prize Money
4 Take safety precautions.
Apart from practicing social and safe distancing, be alert of vehicle and pedestrian traffic. Avoid using EarPods/headsets for music or else be cautious & ensure your safety and security.
For safety reasons, give someone else your route and have an emergency contact located on your BIB or phone while you’re out.
5 Medical Advice:
We advise you to take a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner and adhere to all COVID-19 guidelines/Government Rules (GR) that the Government of India or the respective State
Government/s enforce with regards to public lockdown, social distancing, public gathering etc. The participant shall be responsible for any medical condition arising due to the covid-19 infections or any
emergency during the term of the event. Follow the State advisory on COVID,
6 Train yourselves before the challenge begins: Its best to edify /train yourself a week before the activity starts and make yourself familiar with the route.
7 Stay hydrated during your race.
Have a plan in place to stay hydrated and energized while doing your challenge. Whether it be with a hydration pack, water belt, plan a way to get water, electrolytes and fuel during your challenge.
8 Baggage: Storage facility is available for participants inside the stadium premises. However, do not leave valuables like mobile phone, camera, jewellery, watch, electronic gadgets, etc. in the bag stored.
Event promoter is not responsible for any loss of baggage and/or its belongings.

Proper race etiquette is required at all times, including being aware of your surroundings and of announcements and instructions from event officials. Behave sensibly and with consideration for others at all times.
Maintain Discipline: Do not behave aggressively, either verbally or physically to anyone. No sexual or racial harassment (intimidation or bullying.). Do not swear or use obscene language or gestures. Participants should be respectfully quiet during the pre-race announcements and during the playing of the national anthem.
Start: Follow the timing and enter your corral as per the instructions via announcement/signage. Enter only the corral you are assigned to or a slower one.
Adhere to the instructions: The use of headphones is strongly discouraged. If you choose to wear headphones, please ensure that you can hear all announcements and remain aware of your surroundings, including other participants.
Run Courteously:Do not form groups while running and create hindrance for other participants.
Stopping: Do not stop abruptly. If you stop to drink at an aid station, take water from the furthest point on the table or line to avoid congestion and continue to walk forward. If you need to tie your shoelaces, move to the side of the course.
Spitting:Take care when you spit and blow your nose to avoid hitting other participants and avoid as much as possible to cause spreading of infection to the fellow participants.
Helping: If you encounter a runner in distress, offer assistance and/or report the situation to the nearest aid station, event official, or the event medical emergency line.
Animals and wheeled devices: No animals or wheeled vehicles/devices of any kind are allowed on the course. Anyone who disregards this rule will be disqualified, removed from the course and banned from participating in any future events organised by Run Bhopal Run.
Portable Toilets: Please be considerate in portable toilet lines. Do not cut in line or into another line. Respect that others will use the toilet after you. Urinating or defecating in the corrals, at the post-finish walk-off, or in park woods is not only discourteous, but also a violation of Rules of Competition, and you risk disqualification by engaging in such conduct.
Race Attire: Participants are requested to wear only the event T shirt and also discourage male participants from running without shirts, and/or from removing their shirts during the race.
Respect the environment: Participants must respect the environment and must make sure that they do not pollute the course. Please deposit all trash provided at aid stations. When discarding cups at aid stations, use caution to avoid hitting other participants.
Lost and Found Items: If you find an item during or after the event, please turn it into the RBR staff tent or to any RBR event official. RBR will make best efforts to make these items available for pick up by the next day at the RBR Office.

Taking participants on a journey through picturesque Bhopal starting from a course of Moti lal Nehru stadium (Lal Parade ground) drifting towards K.N Tiraha to Polytechnic Square to Gohar Mahal Square taking participants through VIP Road to Kashiyana Bungalow and then taking a U-turn crossing Gohar Mahal reaching Mazar Chouraha and then taking right towards C.M House. The route then enters the upper lake through Boat Club Road which is also the venue of no vehicle zone called Rahgiri. The race route passes through the Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya making it quite an experience for the runner, continues all along and reaching Indira Gandhi Rashtriya Manav Sangrahalaya exit Gate taking participants to Depot Square towards finally culminating at Tatya Tope Stadium at T. T Nagar. Tatya Tope Stadium Bhopal, a World Class Fully Equipped Multisport Complex. The course takes participants through the beautiful ambiance of Bhopal city with its green surroundings, hillocks and lake.
Corals: Participants will start in corals on Sunday,10 December 2023 to avoid overcrowding and smooth passage of the participants.
Course support amenities
The course has a net gain in elevation from start to finish. Please study the elevation gain and evaluate your race day strategy. It is strongly advised to bear the above fact in mind and consult physician before
embarking.
Even though the course will be closed to vehicular traffic and will be manned by police and race volunteers, you will have to be alert and aware of your surroundings.
You will have to follow the instructions of the police, route marshals or race officials at all times.
Lead vehicles will be guiding the participants along the complete course.
‘Route Signages’ will be placed all along the race route for directional orientation for the participants.
There will be non-contact hydration/aid station along the course.
Toilets will be available at the Start, along the course.
A medical aid station with health care professionals will be near every water station and ambulances placed along the route.
A field hospital / medical station will be available at the start/finish point for any medical emergencies.

Please note: course support (volunteers, entertainment, water, energy drinks, food or medical aid) cannot be guaranteed after the cut off times.

PRIZE RULES:
Race results announced on race day will be 'provisional'. Final results and entitlement to prize money shall be subject to the rules mentioned herein and the Race Regulations.
Course Record Bonus prize will be awarded to the elite runners setting a new course record. Current Course Records: Men - 01 Hrs 03 Mins and 44 Secs and Women - 01 Hrs 15 Mins and 43 Sec. If the new course record is set by more than one runner with the identical timings, then the Course Record prize money will be shared across all runners setting the new course record.
All elite status qualifying times must have been achieved in the past 2 years to be considered.
First three winning times and cash prize awards are determined by the GUN TIME assigned to the first three runners that cross the finish line (duly validated by Race officials / other audit means by the organizer).
SMS and Timing Certificate will be provided to eligible participants - participants who cross at all the timing mats will be eligible for timing certificate.
Participants failing to cross on a mandatory timing mat will be disqualified.

Prize winners declared may be required, at the sole discretion of the Event Promoter, to submit a certified true copy of documents of proof of identity and/or date of birth, as may be required, for
disbursement of prize money. Refusal of submission of adequate and relevant documents or submission of false documents will entail to the athlete’s participation to be disqualified from the Event.
Prize Money winnings are subject to Indian Income Tax Rules and the same will be borne by the winner. TDS percentages will be based on the rates and rules in force as on date of disbursement.
RBR has the final authority to declare the final decisions.

Elite runners are those Runners who qualify for the status based on their previous race timing certificates
ELITE ATHLETE REQUIREMENTS AND APPLICATION
All Elite athletes that meet the Elite (explained below) qualifying standards receive elite status and privileges. Only elite athletes will be eligible for any prize money,
which will be given to the top three positions in the male and female categories for the Half Marathon(21.095 k) Race.

Note: We will not be providing travel expenses to and from Bhopal or accommodations for elite athletes.
PRIZE RULES:
All elite status qualifying times must have been achieved in the past 2 years to be considered.
First three winning times and cash prize awards are determined by the GUN TIME assigned to the first three runners that cross the finish line (duly validated by other audit means by the organizer).
You will be able to provide a copy of your PAN card at the expo counter. We will not be able to issue a cheque, in case if you win, without your PAN card details.
SMS and Timing Certificate will be provided to eligible participants - participants who tag at all the timing mats will be eligible for timing certificate.
Participants failing to tag on a mandatory timing mat will be disqualified.
The provisional timing results are displayed on the website within 8 hours of published close hour of the race. Race results should be available on the event website for a period of 21 days from the date of the
event.
Runners who find any discrepancies in the published results or any corrections in the E certificate can write us an email to runbhopalrun@gmail.com with sufficient proof which has to be submitted within 15 days.
A jury will be formed with the technical committee to discuss the discrepancies and share the final results after verification of facts.
Jury can cancel or disqualify the results of the participant if any discrepancy found in the activity or on the provided documents.
Prize winners declared may be required, at the sole discretion of the Event Promoter, to submit a certified true copy of documents of proof of identity and/or date of birth, as may be required, for disbursement
of prize money. Refusal of submission of adequate and relevant documents or submission of false documents will entail to the athlete’s participation to be disqualified from the Event.
Prize Money winnings are subject to Indian Income Tax Rules and the same will be borne by the winner. TDS percentages will be based on the rates and rules in force as on date of disbursement.
RBR has the final authority to declare the final decisions.
Expo
The RBR Expo will be held on December 8,2023 and December 9,2023 at Bhojpur club from 11 AM-6 PM.

Runners have to provide following documents:
Registration confirmation email
COVID vaccination certificate (both doses) or an RT-PCR Negative report is required to collect the BIB and participate in the event.
Supporting photo ID (Driving license, passport, Aadhaar card, etc.
A group can send their representative/s to collect the running number of bibs on behalf of their team members. Please note, the representative/s collecting the number of bibs must be fully vaccinated and must carry a soft copy of his/her
vaccination certificate to enter the expo premises. The representative/s need to carry the following documents of the participants for the collection of number bibs:
A printed copy of the group confirmation email sent across to the group’s point person
A printed copy of the signed letter on the NGO/company letterhead authorizing the representative/s to collect number bibs on behalf of the group.
Every individual registrant of the group has to sign the waiver form without which a bib will not be issued.
Govt. approved photo ID proof of the participants.
Fully Vaccination certificate (2 doses) or RTPCR test negative report of the representative and participants.
All participants must come to the Expo to collect their Bibs. If you are unable to come and collect their bib on these dates due to unavoidable circumstances, a representative can collect the bib, chip and runners kit on your behalf. The representative will be required to produce the following documents to our registration team –
The original Acceptance Letter / email confirmation print.
A photocopy of photographic proof of the registered participant’s identity
A signed copy of the waiver form by the registrant without which bib will not be issued.
Registered participants's Covid vaccination certificate (2 doses) during the expo to collect the BIB and participate in the event.
Supporting photo ID (Driving license, passport, Aadhaar card, etc.
RACE T SHIRT: T-shirt sizes once confirmed cannot be changed. We will try their best to accommodate the size selected by you, however if unavailable the next best size will be offered.
HEALTH ADVISORY
We wish and advise safety of every participant so protect yourself and those around you.
Stay aware of the latest COVID-19 information by regularly checking updates from WHO/ICMR in addition to local public health authorities.
HEALTH PRECAUTIONARY
Please review the following questions before applying:
Has your doctor ever said that you have a heart condition and that you should only do physical activity recommended by a doctor?
Do you feel pain/ heaviness in your chest when you do physical activity?
Have you had chest pain when you were not doing physical activity?
Do you have palpitations?
Do you have shortness of breath?
Do you lose your balance because of dizziness or do you ever lose consciousness?
Do you have a bone or joint problem that could be made worse by a change in your physical activity?
Is your doctor currently prescribing drugs for your blood pressure or any medical condition?
Do you have family history of heart disease?
Have you had severe covid 19?
Are you on post COVID medication /treatment?
Are you above the age of 55 years?
Are you pregnant?
Do you have insulin dependent diabetes?
Do you know of any other reason why you should not do physical activity?
Do you have difficulty in breathing, especially in cold and dry weather conditions?
If you have answered YES to any of the above questions, we strongly recommend that you seek advice from your doctor before you apply to participate. Do not run if you feel unwell. If you feel any of the symptoms like fever, cold, chills, nausea, chest pain or any other sickness. It is unfair to you and your family to risk serious illness and/or suffer a medical emergency on race day You are unlikely to do yourself justice and to others. Please stay home and be safe. The event is planned and organized with well-equipped medical services for the safety of all our runners. The large team of doctors, health professionals to provide medical support for the participants. Medical Stations can be identified by the signage's with the Red Cross symbol and will be at the Start & finish Venue (Motilal nehru stadium & TT Nagar stadium) and on course aid stations.
On Course:
Each medical aid station is equipped with a team of medical personnel to provide medical aid. On Course medical coverage is supported with ambulances.
Start/ Finish:
The medical tent area at TT nagar stadium is well equipped with trained medical staff, health workers and aid supplies with ambulance support. There will also be a physio area,
where trained professionals will help you with stretching and massages.
In the event a participant is transported to a local area hospital at the discretion of the medical team, help desk is located at Motilal nehru stadium and TT nagar stadium for enquiries.
It is also very important that you complete the emergency contact information on the back of your bib.
Help your fellow participants. If you notice a runner in distress, ask if help is needed. When appropriate, obtain assistance from our course medical groups.
The activity for which you are registering may be physically challenging and pose a risk of discomfort, illness, injury, and even death. It is your responsibility to ensure that you are in sufficient physical condition to participate in the Event without risk to your health or your life. You shall not hold the organizer responsible for any mishap.
COVID PROTOCOL:
Only those individuals who have taken at least two dose of COVID-19 vaccination approved by WHO can apply for RBR 2023; a vaccination certificate certifying the same must be uploaded while applying for the race. Participation in
RBR 2023 will be confirmed only where the participant is fully vaccinated (WHO approved vaccines) by 24 november 2023, only after submission of the same can the participant can collect the bib.
On race day, each participant's temperature will be thermally screened, and those with fever or who are ill, will not be allowed to run on race day – participants will be asked to leave the race premises with immediate effect.
Participants must wear face mask in the event premises; spare masks will also be available. Participants may throw their masks in bins. Fresh face masks will be provided to runners at the finish area.
